Abstract
The cup-like phenotype is an emerging entity of acute myeloid leukemias. We report the case of cup-like nuclei acute myeloid leukemia with an FLT3 deletion without NPM1 abnormalities in a young woman. The biological profile was characterized by hyperleukocytosis, blood blastosis and elevated bone marrow disorders, a particular immuphenotypic profile reminiscent of acute promyelocytic leukemia and a normal karyotype. Recognizing this entity is essential to avoid confusion with LAP and to guide molecular analyses.
