Abstract
Messenger RNA is establishing itself as a revolutionary and versatile therapeutic technology, opening up new prospects in the fight against cancer, rare monogenic diseases and many other immunological and infectious conditions. This breakthrough was accelerated by the Covid-19 pandemic, which dramatically accelerated the application of messenger RNA technology for the development of mRNA drugs, while also highlighting the potential of mRNA vaccines. This synthesis explores mRNA technology, its main optimization steps and promising applications. We will focus on its role in oncology and rare diseases, as well as its innovative potential for the future of cancer medicine.
