La revue Tunisienne de Biologie Clinique is an open access journal, free of charge, published three times a year by the Tunisian Society of Clinical Biology since 2001.
Initially published in print format, the journal transitioned to a hybrid format in 2007, combining both print and electronic versions. Since 2021, only the electronic version has been maintained.
The Tunisian Journal of Clinical Biology adheres to an Open-Access policy, providing full access to articles.

Aims and Scope:
The Tunisian Journal of Clinical Biology is the official journal of the Tunisian Society of Clinical Biology. The published topics encompass all aspects of clinical biology across various disciplines, including bacteriology, biochemistry, molecular biology, cytogenetics, genetics, hematology, immunology, parasitology-mycology, toxicology, virology, and clinical biology in general. Emphasis is placed on analytical and clinical investigations of laboratory tests in humans, used for diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, therapy, and disease monitoring.
The journal publishes original articles, general reviews, opinion pieces, daily practice or continuing education notes, press or book reviews, letters to the editor, as well as reports from working groups of the Tunisian Society of Clinical Biology.
Editorial policy
The Tunisian Journal of Clinical Biology follows the recommendations of the ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) for ethical practices and standards in the conduct and presentation of information published in medical journals.
The Tunisian Journal of Clinical Biology applies the appropriate procedures and good practices in terms of conflict of interest and double publication published by COPE "Commettee on publication ethics' (https://publicationethics.org/).
By submitting an article for publication, all authors warrant that they have approved the article, that this article has not been submitted for publication to another journal and has not been previously published, the corresponding author will be asked to confirm that this is the case during the electronic submission process.

Ethics
Any study involving a group of patients must follow the principles expressed in the Declaration of Helsinki. In order to avoid any difficulty of interpretation in this area, please mention in the text the opinion sought from the Institutional or National Ethics Committee requested to carry out the study. Similarly, studies reporting in vivo animal experiments must have been carried out in accordance with the legal provisions concerning animal experimentation; This information will be mentioned in the text.
